As good as the offensive big wigs look this week, and we will get to them tomorrow.  The stoutest of the stout, the purveyors of the clean, the dukes of denial are looking very good this week.  As I stated yesterday the cream is definitely separating themselves from the rest of the field and that doesn’t change on the defensive end of the ball either.  With great match-ups on paper for the better defensive teams, like City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs and United the rankings this week will be littered with the likes of those teams integral players.  Better teams better chances for CS results as a probability scale dictates usually.  Don’t get me wrong gambling is good when you don’t have the funds to be a defensive laden team with assets from the top 6 team all at your disposal.  This unfortunately isn’t the case in salary capped leagues where funds become limited, so i will mix in some of my favorite low investment players into the rankings here and there, but for the most part it takes money to earn the CS points this week.  Here are the week 24 FPL keeps and defender rankings.  Good luck and Cheers!

are more of the subtle yet deadly variety.  Why?  Because of the elite fixture that lies ahead this weekend between Liverpool and City.  It is tough to have tons of faith in two teams that are both FPL stalwarts like they are.  They basically neutralize each other on both ends of the pitch.  Liverpool has the best home defense is the league, and City just score anywhere.  City are a top 5 defensive team on the road and Liverpool score more at home.  It is like one hand washing the other this week.  All are still startable options this week as the money, ownership and transfer fees associated with making a one week move based on match-up just doesn’t make too much sense to this guy.  So be heady this week, don’t compound the DGW fiasco from last game week and make it worse and bury yourself further down the well.  So happy transferring this week and enjoy the next two weeks of transfer rumors.  Here are the week 23 rankings for the FPL. Cheers!

The beloved clean sheet.  Coveted by all, ascertained by so few.  It is an allusive beast that lures you in with great match-ups and decent form and leaves you sobbing after relying on Bournemouth or Stoke.  I wish there was so anger algorithm for how late teams concede and complete take a poop on your fantasy week.  fear not though, last week’s misery is this week’s hope. As we head down the December trail of busy fixtures hunting points and lots of them.  The differentials and good run of fixtures are there for keepers and defense and week 16 is the beginning of some good runs, and unfortunately the end of some others.  So shift your funds around, get some in-form players and head in to the week with confidence knowing that what you have is the best you can do.  This pep talk is over, so here are the week 16 rankings for the FPL for keepers and defense.  Cheers!

I wish the FPl scoring system was more like Oprah.  You get a clean sheet!  You get a Clean Sheet! Yes, even you get a clean sheet.  Unfortunately it doesn’t work that way, that just having someone in attendence gets one.  It is done the old fashioned way and it is earned.  the clean sheet guessing game has been blowing up in our faces as of late as teams that look like tidy games have yielded results not so comforting to the point accumulation.  Best advice is don’t gamble.  they have gambling anonymous hotlines to help you in such affairs.  keep it simple gather the best guys at an affordable rate, even the cheapest options to a great defense, and rock out with that.  At worst you need three great/good defenseman.  I recommend having at least four with intrinsic value and then work from there.  take the gamble out of the equation and just follow the buzzards of the FPL universe, but don’t be a complete lemming.  Forge your own path to defensive greatness and look for differentials they are out there.  All you have to do is look.  here are the week 12 FPl rankings for keeps and D.  Cheers!

When the top three scoring forwards for a gameweek are a combined £16.4m in value and put up 25 total points, well then we gotta reevaluate how we are structuring our teams. Clearly goals are coming from more diverse sources, but the likelihood of picking the right one in any given week remains a difficult proposition. Pick your favorite color and run with it, I don’t know – the point is to strengthen your team elsewhere if you are like me and are in shambles in the back and the midfield.

Another week, another Champions league worry fest.  Also another one off week where the schedule flips into an International break abyss and we are left to stare and think about our rosters for far too long.  Causing angst and transfer tremors of epic proportions. Fear not though as it is only Thursday and the day after the UCL games and the day of the Europa’s where we see two more EPl team pit their metals against foreign hordes.  It does but it doesn’t affect the Premier League because who knows what will happen until after the games happen.  Guessing is for the noobs, we here at Razzbol are the experts.  Self proclaimed experts of course.  So with week 11 on the docket officially now we can look at the games to come, where almost every team that makes fantasy gravy gets it’s feet wet on the Sunday slate.  But stars don’t win championships, it’s the differentials that do.  So buck up and transfer wisely as we are thumbs, balls and minds deep into week 11.  here are the rankings for keepers and Defenders fro week 11.  Cheers!

For those of you affected by the late scratches of Kane and Coutinho (or any other player I’m unaware of getting scratched), I feel for you. The good news was that we didn’t have a moronic Friday fixture to make things go completely nuts, and there was time to take a hit or two if needed. While I wish the hits I took were that sweet cess, these hits are at times necessary and are less painful when everyone’s taking a hit at the same time. It’s like a second-hand cloud of negative points toward everyone’s season total.

This week was low-scoring overall, with the average being just 46 points. Keep that in mind as you see some red arrows, that they might have been just a point or two away from being a green arrow. Hopefully these red arrows come with the caveat of having made your team deeper (to prevent last-minute benchings/injuries from giving  you a zero) or helped you shift around your funds in a more logical manner.

Listen I get that the ole moniker is the key to a good offense is a good defense, but they don’t score the goals.  Or get the ladies.  Keepers and defense are predicated on the clean sheet.  It is a story as old as time and will never get old.  the differentials and variety of starting capabilities are what make defenders, more than goalies the point return parity of the official game.  Their prices dictate who and what we have and it steers us in the direction of affordability over form, and the elusive chase for the ever loving clean sheet.  with the occasional goal or assist.  With the international break finally caput we can get into the goods of fantasy for the next four weeks until the next international break.  Womp, womp.  So onto the here and now here are the week 8 rankings for the FPl.  Cheers!
