Rankings are fun to do in general. Add in the flavor of this week’s fixtures and you have yourself some fantasy gumbo. I get that the City/Chelsea fixture is the premium this week but don’t let that steer you clear of playing top options. Yes, they will steal value from each other, but that is more from the defensive side of the ball. It is full bore on the offensive end and that is where we invest our fantasy goodies. we want goals and i think this slate will have plenty. The Leicester/Bournemouth match will be fun to watch as both teams are taking on a mini Liverpool defensive minded approach and will have the way with each other. So if you are waiting to make your transfers now that the UCL is over by all means use my rankings as a guide to FPL futility. Enjoy the week and good luck. Cheers! Please, blog, may I have some more?
Rankings make the right turns seem to make sense. That is why we keep doing them every single week. The information super-highway of FPL goodness. Week 6 is coming to you on the heels of the Carabao Cup games and once again we are left with the questions of rotations that surround our teams. With the deadline before we actually know it becomes a trust game. Do we trust Pep? Do we trust Jose? Hell to the no. The FPL game is using your best guess against the 5 million other best guessers. Some are just better guessers than others at the right time. So with other hub-bub here are the FPl rankings for all positions for Week 6. Good luck and Cheers!Rankings make the right turns seem to make sense. That is why we keep doing them every single week. The information super-highway of FPL goodness. Oh, Week 4 you young and burdening beast. The season has just started and we are already questioning the judgments that we made yet a month ago. No worries though faithful followers of the Razz. Each week is almost like a new beginning if you had a wildcard to use at your discretion every week. The rankings of midfielders and forwards is blossoming into a conundrum right before our very eyes. We planted it in the summer, watched the transfer window closed and now that the shop is closed this is where we are. 18 more weeks until roster shake-ups again (if any) and the inevitable new wildcard. So if you haven’t used your first wildcard yet, bene. You have more restraint then most of the 5 million other players of this game. So here are the rankings for the midfielders and forwards for week 4, regardless of wildcard. Cheers! Please, blog, may I have some more?
The second installment of rankings is sometimes the favored. Because who doesn’t like to score or assist to score. In almost any format that last sentence holds sway. But for now let’s just skip the images in your head and talk about the meat and potatoes of the FPL weekly rankings. These fellas are more reliant on goals, assists and the BPS to drive them over the top. So with match-ups, form and common sense as the wind to their ranking sail the list is based on just those three things. So look at the schedule, trust the form and pray that I have some common sense when ranking these players. Here are the Week 3 rankings for the midfielders and forwards in the FPL. As always, the second post is usually the more awaited of the week. Why? It’s the same reason that people love the home run, the touchdown, or the over. It is no different when we start talking about the middies and strikers for the week. We fall in love with the goals and the tallies that come along with them. All just facts. Also a fact is that like always the rankings are always based on price, match-up, form and common sense. So if you disagree… say so. I am here for your service in this FPL game that we all love so much. So enjoy the rankings, long intro’s are for squares and for people who don’t really have much to say so they make it long winded. If you enjoyed yesterday’s salad and appetizer courses, then you will love today’s main course and dessert. I realize you can’t get anywheres in the official game without having a nodded on choice at keeper and a stellar yet filled with differential based defense. But the real fun in building your roster is comprising it with as many affordable stars through the middle of the pitch and up top. So just like yesterday’s rankings I mix in price, match and some good ole common sense. The form comes later because after all this is just week one of a long journey my friends. Some great matches are on the table for a lot of star players, so here’s hoping you can squeeze as many of them in as possible. So just in case you needed a guiding hand here is week 1 of the FPL season rankings for Middies and Strikers. Cheers! Please, blog, may I have some more?
Wednesday’s from now on are the day when we let nothing hide between friends. It is fairly simple: I will show you my team for the next three Wednesday’s leading up to the start of the season. I do expect that if you read this that, you do the exact same thing because two heads are better than one, and 10 is even better. Get it? Cool. So this is draft number six on the year for me so far, the others were more fiddling out of boredom, but now that we are starting to see news out and about pertaining to certain teams formations, transfers and injury updates. So enjoy this early look at Smokey’s team and critique away, because I prolly deserve to be slandered for my thoughts and team selection. Cheers! Please, blog, may I have some more?
Well, now that we have gone over the back-liners, let us move to the sassy portion of the rankings. Those, of course, are the managers and physios. I mean who doesn’t love a guy who is the minister of fitness for their club. I know I do. But in all seriousness, middies and forwards are where the fantasy bread is buttered. And now that the possible DGW is possibly in play for next week, it does change some things around. City and Stoke players now have some attention staring at them for next week, and it does throw a blanket over some transfer ideas that we may have concocted. Regardless, this is Week 26 and for now, let’s just try and take our ADHD medicine and worry about today rather then tomorrow. So with a lot of star power on blank this week, we get a few newer names to the rankings then normal. As Arsenal, City, United and Southampton all blank it eliminates a few staples from the rankings that would otherwise normally appear. so avoid the blanks, and may your points be fruitful. Cheers! Please, blog, may I have some more?
The calm before the blank week storm is upon us. Soon after this week we will determine most of our course for the next few weeks, as the FA cup will dictate the upcoming fixtures in Week 28 and so on. Let us not get too far ahead of ourselves and concentrate on this week’s tasty fixtures and the fantasy appeal that they offer. Week 25 is a key point in the yearm and if you don’t have to make a transfer and can go into Week 26 with two, then by all means, do so. Keep that WC in your top pocket and trudge forward into fantasy glory. Here are the Week 25 rankings for the official game. Cheers! Please, blog, may I have some more?
Another quick turn around and a slew of news, injuries, and new players on new teams. It is a great day to be alive when the rankings come out for the Premier League set for game week 24. Why, you may ask? Because I slave over a hot stove, day in and day out to stay on top of things so you don’t. And yes, if you wanna cheat and skip ahead by all means, Sergio Aguero is my top ranked forward after missing last game week with a niggle. Lot’s of games to love this week with Liverpool, Spurs and believe or not I like the fantasy output for Palace this week. Unfortunately, Chelsea face off against Arsenal and it takes some fantasy luster off the game, shucks. Oh well, on to Week 24 rankings. Cheers! Please, blog, may I have some more?
