Don't look now, but time's almost up for you to keep tinkering away at your FPL team. Roster's lock on Friday at 7pm (BST), 2PM (ET) and 11AM (PT), so don't get caught with any players you aren't entirely certain will be back GW1 - especially those high-priced assets. There is no point having an expensive, double figure player riding the bench when you are literally starting on a level playing field with everyone else. While there will certainly be players you long to have on your squad from day one, if they are not yet training with the team due to World Cup action, just wait to wildcard them in after a few weeks of play and rotations/starting XIs are mostly settled.
Everyone remember that old Nintendo game, Double Dribble.  Well that is what the FPL is offering up this week the Doubles that are causing us to all dribble with drool.  The options are abundant, and set up nicely for chips...granted you have set yourself up that way. Rankings for double game weeks are fairly easy and I will explain my thinking on this process.  If a double game week player plays the minimum amount of minutes and gets the basic 2 point return (no clean sheet, no cards etc) he will get two games of that for a total of 4 points.  Stupid math explanations are awful i reading but stay with me.  The single gameweek player will get only 2 pints for just minimal returns in his single match.  So from a gambling standpoint would you rather have a player who plays two games to actually give you fantasy returns as compared to just one?  the answer is only the two match player.  The further you get down in the rankings the better the return odds for the star players but for the most part the two match player always wins.  it's like old maid but with football boots and kits instead.  So here are the FPl rankings for matchweek 34, the week we have been pining for since we started to know that doubles existed.  Good luck and happy chipping and transferring. Cheers!
Similar to taking a piss straight into a headwind, there is futility in guessing which player will rise above the rest week-in and week-out. Rankings are damn near impossible to completely nail, and the top four forwards from GW29 were no exception: Aubameyang, Tosun, Deeney and King (aka Aubametosu and The Deeney Kings). Of them, Aubayameng was the highest owned at 4.4%. That's the type of odds FPL stacks you against in any given week, and these rankings are based as much on fixtures as they are gut feel. Week 30 ends our sense of normal that we've mostly had since the Christmas fixtures, and if you've been following along at home then you've heard of FPL's upcoming booze snooze on St. Paddy's Day, which will provide us a wee-smattering of Premier Leauge with just 4 fixtures. Now week 30's rankings do not factor in the blank, but it should be taken into consideration for transfer purposes as we focus on finding players that shore up a hole for this week and the following. Try looking at a cheap starter that could help shift funds in GW 31 to your missing higher priced item from Liverpool or Everton. Taking a chance on a lesser-owned, cheaper asset with starting credentials in GW31 carries an automatic 2 point "bonus" points you otherwise wouldn't have. So go get some free FPL currency and cheers!
You hear that drumming in  the distance? That is the upcoming schedule.  Rearing its slow and steady beat and invading your every thought.  Every transfer decision you make from here on out should be with the biggest four weeks on your mind. With 2 blank weeks and 2 doubles in the remainder of the calender, rankings mean only so much to the clearer bigger picture.  Think long and hard about your preparation for those weeks as every player thank blanks that you may own or transfer in reverberates to gameweeks 34, 35 and 37.  So be smart and slow the pace of play a bit and instead of hitting confirm transfer think again about it.  get yourself on a plan of attack for the final 11 weeks of play.  Chips in hand, wildcards to play.  Stack them up against players in your mini league and dominate.  But for those playing it by the seat of their pants here are the week 28 rankings for the FPL.  Good luck and Cheers!
In a week built to attack the lower level squads, I am advising everyone to treat this as a one off week.  Pick guys that help you now.  Whether that be defensive matchups in your favor like Stoke or Swansea.  Or even on the offensive end with Bournemouth and crazy as it may seem Brighton.  The lower level clubs for me are getting a ton of my fantasy eye as we steam roll toward week 28 and the potential for fixture shuffle.  The best part of that is that we will have a full two weeks before the next game week to totally overthink our teams and mess with it six ways til Sunday.  So if you are having a debate in your head for transfers this week, pick the better matchup as you see it on paper.  In form teams right now aren't the ones you may expect.  If at all possible to go into week 28 with a second free transfer by all means do it because Arsenal and City may be blanking there.  One extra in the bank is better for the heart, mind and fantasy soul.  Enjoy the week 27 fixtures and happy transferring. Cheers!
Short week means a robust, yet fast approach to FPL week 26.  Condensed into two days, we give you all the same content, just at the expense of sleep and in all actuality some news that is ahead for the next game week of 26.  With Riyad still MIA and the United and Chelsea attack's stalling last week it should be an interesting week of gambling from a transfer perspective.  Teams like Stoke and Bournemouth have decent upcoming fixtures and are the source of some really cheap and affordable differential type players. Don't forget about the looming blank, and double game weeks that are on the horizon.  If you have transfers that will help you now and later than look at the blank percentages for those upcoming weeks and invest wisely in those.  The blanks and DGW are where we all make up differences in mini leagues if you are into that type of thing... you know actually competing.  I am not one to really talk in that department as I continue to guess wrong on my transfers, but steer everyone who asks in the right.  Cie la vie.  Still having a blast reporting everything possible FPl for the Razzball universe.  Good luck on the transfers and think for yourself not with the masses.  13 weeks too!
The beloved clean sheet.  Coveted by all, ascertained by so few.  It is an allusive beast that lures you in with great match-ups and decent form and leaves you sobbing after relying on Bournemouth or Stoke.  I wish there was so anger algorithm for how late teams concede and complete take a poop on your fantasy week.  fear not though, last week's misery is this week's hope. As we head down the December trail of busy fixtures hunting points and lots of them.  The differentials and good run of fixtures are there for keepers and defense and week 16 is the beginning of some good runs, and unfortunately the end of some others.  So shift your funds around, get some in-form players and head in to the week with confidence knowing that what you have is the best you can do.  This pep talk is over, so here are the week 16 rankings for the FPL for keepers and defense.  Cheers!
I wish the FPl scoring system was more like Oprah.  You get a clean sheet!  You get a Clean Sheet! Yes, even you get a clean sheet.  Unfortunately it doesn't work that way, that just having someone in attendence gets one.  It is done the old fashioned way and it is earned.  the clean sheet guessing game has been blowing up in our faces as of late as teams that look like tidy games have yielded results not so comforting to the point accumulation.  Best advice is don't gamble.  they have gambling anonymous hotlines to help you in such affairs.  keep it simple gather the best guys at an affordable rate, even the cheapest options to a great defense, and rock out with that.  At worst you need three great/good defenseman.  I recommend having at least four with intrinsic value and then work from there.  take the gamble out of the equation and just follow the buzzards of the FPL universe, but don't be a complete lemming.  Forge your own path to defensive greatness and look for differentials they are out there.  All you have to do is look.  here are the week 12 FPl rankings for keeps and D.  Cheers!
Another week, another Champions league worry fest.  Also another one off week where the schedule flips into an International break abyss and we are left to stare and think about our rosters for far too long.  Causing angst and transfer tremors of epic proportions. Fear not though as it is only Thursday and the day after the UCL games and the day of the Europa's where we see two more EPl team pit their metals against foreign hordes.  It does but it doesn't affect the Premier League because who knows what will happen until after the games happen.  Guessing is for the noobs, we here at Razzbol are the experts.  Self proclaimed experts of course.  So with week 11 on the docket officially now we can look at the games to come, where almost every team that makes fantasy gravy gets it's feet wet on the Sunday slate.  But stars don't win championships, it's the differentials that do.  So buck up and transfer wisely as we are thumbs, balls and minds deep into week 11.  here are the rankings for keepers and Defenders fro week 11.  Cheers!
