It’s your sometimes weekly, mostly when I’m not too exhausted from work update for Gameweek 23. Feel free to leave questions, comments and criticisms below…Please, blog, may I have some more?
are more of the subtle yet deadly variety.¬† Why?¬† Because of the elite fixture that lies ahead this weekend between Liverpool and City.¬† It is tough to have tons of faith in two teams that are both FPL stalwarts like they are.¬† They basically neutralize each other on both ends of the pitch.¬† Liverpool has the best home defense is the league, and City just score anywhere.¬† City are a top 5 defensive team on the road and Liverpool score more at home.¬† It is like one hand washing the other this week.¬† All are still startable options this week as the money, ownership and transfer fees associated with making a one week move based on match-up just doesn’t make too much sense to this guy.¬† So be heady this week, don’t compound the DGW fiasco from last game week and make it worse and bury yourself further down the well.¬† So happy transferring this week and enjoy the next two weeks of transfer rumors.¬† Here are the week 23 rankings for the FPL. Cheers! Please, blog, may I have some more?
Sorry for the late post today, I’ve been combatting the interwebz quite delicately since Friday night and as a result missed almost every Prem game this weekend (hurray for replays!)Please, blog, may I have some more?
Another week, another Champions league worry fest.¬† Also another one off week where the schedule flips into an International break abyss and we are left to stare and think about our rosters for far too long.¬† Causing angst and transfer tremors of epic proportions. Fear not though as it is only Thursday and the day after the UCL games and the day of the Europa’s where we see two more EPl team pit their metals against foreign hordes.¬† It does but it doesn’t affect the Premier League because who knows what will happen until after the games happen.¬† Guessing is for the noobs, we here at Razzbol are the experts.¬† Self proclaimed experts of course.¬† So with week 11 on the docket officially now we can look at the games to come, where almost every team that makes fantasy gravy gets it’s feet wet on the Sunday slate.¬† But stars don’t win championships, it’s the differentials that do.¬† So buck up and transfer wisely as we are thumbs, balls and minds deep into week 11.¬† here are the rankings for keepers and Defenders fro week 11.¬† Cheers! Please, blog, may I have some more?
Listen I get that the ole moniker is the key to a good offense is a good defense, but they don’t score the goals.¬† Or get the ladies.¬† Keepers and defense are predicated on the clean sheet.¬† It is a story as old as time and will never get old.¬† the differentials and variety of starting capabilities are what make defenders, more than goalies the point return parity of the official game.¬† Their prices dictate who and what we have and it steers us in the direction of affordability over form, and the elusive chase for the ever loving clean sheet.¬† with the occasional goal or assist.¬† With the international break finally caput we can get into the goods of fantasy for the next four weeks until the next international break.¬† Womp, womp.¬† So onto the here and now here are the week 8 rankings for the FPl.¬† Cheers! Please, blog, may I have some more?
Rankings are fun to do in general.¬† Add in the flavor of this week’s fixtures and you have yourself some fantasy gumbo.¬† I get that the City/Chelsea fixture is the premium this week but don’t let that steer you clear of playing top options.¬† Yes, they will steal value from each other, but that is more from the defensive side of the ball.¬† It is full bore on the offensive end and that is where we invest our fantasy goodies.¬† we want goals and i think this slate will have plenty.¬† The Leicester/Bournemouth match will be fun to watch as both teams are taking on a mini Liverpool defensive minded approach and will have the way with each other.¬† So if you are waiting to make your transfers now that the UCL is over by all means use my rankings as a guide to FPL futility.¬† Enjoy the week and good luck.¬† Cheers! Please, blog, may I have some more?
So we attack the long first break of the year with some Week 4 goodies. As we all know, the basis of any good team is a good defense. ¬†Without it, the goal would just be pummeled with shots and no goalie to stop them, making the score infinite. ¬†That for the sake of all that is holy doesn’t actually happen, so much like reality, fantasy has to have keepers and defense. ¬†they round out every nutritious fantasy breakfast, and if played right can be more prosperous than some striker combinations. ¬†For the sake of this week’s match-ups though, the teams with some normal fantasy usefulness are turned into just fodder. ¬†I am staring glaringly obviously at the City/Liverpool match which kicks of this week’s action bright an early on Saturday morning. ¬†So to start the week yesterday was Transfer ideas and targets and now come the cavalcade of rankings for your viewing pleasure. ¬†Cheers! Please, blog, may I have some more?
Welcome back all! We have two weeks down in the books, and I’ve provided some insight below into what I saw from a handful players, for better or for worse. Although I wish I could write about every player, remember that while we would to amass all of the players in the Fantasy Premier League universe, we are obligated to field a starting XI from your fifteen-man squad within the constraints of our budget. Hopefully some of these players below will at least be on your radar as you move forward with transfers and potential Wild Cards. Please, blog, may I have some more?
Yikes folks, three-game weeks in 10 days and if you don’t have the need for adult diapers, now may be the time. ¬†Excitement personified! ¬†This is the last stretch run of games that come in succession like this for the rest of the year, and if you are big proponent of taking a minus and not having it affect you this is the time. ¬†I say that because if you simply take a minus a week for the next 3 and set yourself up with one player for the week, and one for the DGW in 34 w/ United, Soton, and Palace… you will be ahead of the game and hold onto that coveted wildcard for the better looking DGW fixtures after Week 34. ¬†But what the heck do I know? Enjoy the week. ¬†Happy transferring and here are the Week 30 FPL rankings for all positions. ¬†Cheers! Please, blog, may I have some more?
The whole hub-bub this week will be to take a minus or not. I don’t care what other research of quadratic jargon that you peruse on a daily basis, that is the only question that matters. The quick answer here is do what you think is right by your team in setting yourself up to compete in Week 29. That is the more important question. This week is basically a wash and everyone, and I mean everyone is either working at a disadvantage to get a starting XI, or will take a minus to get there. The run out is more important than a four game slate that features a less then attractive depth solution to this week’s problem. Get your team to 9 and then if you want 10 at a minus 4, go for it. If not, relax, be on top of your team for Week 29 so you can bring in Kane or Costa. You can think about midfield with Hazard and Sanchez and defensively you should be all set and gambling with the guys who get you through Week 28 until you are ready to wildcard. I am no genius in this, it is all common sense. Don’t play follow the leader, play the I own my own FPL team game. Here are the sexy rankings for Week 28. Cheers! Please, blog, may I have some more?
