Everyone remember that old Nintendo game, Double Dribble. Well that is what the FPL is offering up this week the Doubles that are causing us to all dribble with drool. The options are abundant, and set up nicely for chips…granted you have set yourself up that way. Rankings for double game weeks are fairly easy and I will explain my thinking on this process. If a double game week player plays the minimum amount of minutes and gets the basic 2 point return (no clean sheet, no cards etc) he will get two games of that for a total of 4 points. Stupid math explanations are awful i reading but stay with me. The single gameweek player will get only 2 pints for just minimal returns in his single match. So from a gambling standpoint would you rather have a player who plays two games to actually give you fantasy returns as compared to just one? the answer is only the two match player. The further you get down in the rankings the better the return odds for the star players but for the most part the two match player always wins. it’s like old maid but with football boots and kits instead. So here are the FPl rankings for matchweek 34, the week we have been pining for since we started to know that doubles existed. Good luck and happy chipping and transferring. Cheers! Please, blog, may I have some more?
It feels like the week before black Friday around holiday time. All these useful pieces staring us in the face and we are firmly looking beyond that to when we can get two for one sales. So with only 10 shopping days left til the double transferring smart rather than with your gut is the best strategy. Now that the possibility exists of a Mo Salah injury it throws a monkey wrench in to the best laid plans of FPL men. Do you stick or twist? As we wait for the news to come out the rankings here reflect a tentative idea of who will do well this week, the not so well aren’t listed because we are only interested in the cream of the crop. The Derby weekend is here so get ready for some preemptive double game week love as we jump two feet into game week 33 of the FPL. Cheers! Please, blog, may I have some more?
We’re once again giving you our loves and hates for each week in a segment called “Start ‘Em and Sit ‘Em”. You should know the drill, but if you don’t, we pick one option from each position. Pretty cut and dry, and quite simply… basic. It is more based on my feelings and gut approach for the week’s upcoming and changes from week-to-week. I look at match-ups and form to formulate my craziness. It’s like musical chairs, without all the screaming kids and regretful feeling of loss. So sit back, relax, and have a look at who we would start and sit based on match-ups and value. It’s Fantasy Premier League Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em, Week 32 (plus a sleeper/under-owned fella that should be owned and isn’t.)Please, blog, may I have some more?

Oh the weather outside is FPL frightful. Dum, de dum delightful. The weather is definitely a blind pimple on the face of the FPL heading into this weekend’s slate of fixtures. Hell it is going to affect today’s Arsenal/City clash. So if and a big if that they do play rankings are the pivot point to a transfer strategy. You hear that drumming in the distance? That is the upcoming schedule. Rearing its slow and steady beat and invading your every thought. Every transfer decision you make from here on out should be with the biggest four weeks on your mind. With 2 blank weeks and 2 doubles in the remainder of the calender, rankings mean only so much to the clearer bigger picture. Think long and hard about your preparation for those weeks as every player thank blanks that you may own or transfer in reverberates to gameweeks 34, 35 and 37. So be smart and slow the pace of play a bit and instead of hitting confirm transfer think again about it. get yourself on a plan of attack for the final 11 weeks of play. Chips in hand, wildcards to play. Stack them up against players in your mini league and dominate. But for those playing it by the seat of their pants here are the week 28 rankings for the FPL. Good luck and Cheers! Please, blog, may I have some more?
Short week means a robust, yet fast approach to FPL week 26. Condensed into two days, we give you all the same content, just at the expense of sleep and in all actuality some news that is ahead for the next game week of 26. With Riyad still MIA and the United and Chelsea attack’s stalling last week it should be an interesting week of gambling from a transfer perspective. Teams like Stoke and Bournemouth have decent upcoming fixtures and are the source of some really cheap and affordable differential type players. Don’t forget about the looming blank, and double game weeks that are on the horizon. If you have transfers that will help you now and later than look at the blank percentages for those upcoming weeks and invest wisely in those. The blanks and DGW are where we all make up differences in mini leagues if you are into that type of thing… you know actually competing. I am not one to really talk in that department as I continue to guess wrong on my transfers, but steer everyone who asks in the right. Cie la vie. Still having a blast reporting everything possible FPl for the Razzball universe. Good luck on the transfers and think for yourself not with the masses. 13 weeks too! Please, blog, may I have some more?
I wish there were no FA Cup games this week. It would make rankings so much easier and cut and dry. But no! They had to exist on top of the swamp donkey Cup and push everything off by two days. Rankings alone are hard enough. Now mix in another game of fixtures, wrapped in a rotational brioche bun. Also, there are major implications happening with the transfer window and the additions and subtractions that are sending ripple like affects through the FPL universe. I don’t sound too bitter though, so there is at least that. None the less we soldier on and bring to you the second part of this week’s rankings in the Middies and Forwards. the stud muffins of the ball. The guys who have to give the chicks away because they score all the goals and make the music in the FPL world. I am partially kidding because half of them prolly can’t play an instrument. so less rambling, more rankings. Week 25’s sexy front 7’s are right after the bumb. Good luck with transfers and enjoy watching the FA Cup. Cheers! Please, blog, may I have some more?
This week’s fixtures have all the makings for one of two things. It is either going to be an offensive juggernaut that produces lots of goal from all the usual suspects and teams. Or it is a huge trap week and Liverpool and City all shat the bed and leave us holding our heads in despair. Either way it will cause a panic at not only the disco, but through the transfer adds/drops for week 25. My advice to that is, screw week 25. We still have this week to play before we get all crazy britches about speculation of next week. the only thing you should be looking forward to schedule wise is the DGW, blank weeks and who will or won’t. So until than let us gaze upon the beautiful fixtures that are here now. It almost appears that the top 6 teams are all playing the bottom six teams and all the middle teams are playing each other. It is a bizarre state of scheduling that from my expert lifeguard chair is going to be another fabulous week of fantasy output for all. So here’s to you, your team and fingers-crossed for a bountiful week. Week 24 rankings for middies and forwards is right after the bump. Cheers! Please, blog, may I have some more?
are more of the subtle yet deadly variety. Why? Because of the elite fixture that lies ahead this weekend between Liverpool and City. It is tough to have tons of faith in two teams that are both FPL stalwarts like they are. They basically neutralize each other on both ends of the pitch. Liverpool has the best home defense is the league, and City just score anywhere. City are a top 5 defensive team on the road and Liverpool score more at home. It is like one hand washing the other this week. All are still startable options this week as the money, ownership and transfer fees associated with making a one week move based on match-up just doesn’t make too much sense to this guy. So be heady this week, don’t compound the DGW fiasco from last game week and make it worse and bury yourself further down the well. So happy transferring this week and enjoy the next two weeks of transfer rumors. Here are the week 23 rankings for the FPL. Cheers! Please, blog, may I have some more?
