The calm before the blank week storm is upon us.  Soon after this week we will determine most of our course for the next few weeks, as the FA cup will dictate the upcoming fixtures in Week 28 and so on.  Let us not get too far ahead of ourselves and concentrate on this week’s tasty fixtures and the fantasy appeal that they offer.  Week 25 is a key point in the yearm and if you don’t have to make a transfer and can go into Week 26 with two, then by all means, do so.  Keep that WC in your top pocket and trudge forward into fantasy glory.  Here are the Week 25 rankings for the official game.  Cheers!

Hi, missed out on January transfer spoils so still stuck with Borja on my squad (I also have Deeney and Rondon at the F position). Any thoughts on dropping for any of the following available F?

    Jordan Ayew
    Ahmed Musa

@Sam: Yuck Sam you are in some trouble my man. Stick with Deeney and Rondon and maybe go get Llorrente. i also don’t know ur cash in the bank so it’s a little tough

    Maxi says:

Because I didn’t jump on the early transfer, Im currently .1 short of enough skrill in the bank to go Capoue -> Sig…so I either have to take another 4 point hit and bring him in in conjunction with Nyom for A. Smith, or flip Rondon/Benteke for Niang (not a guarantee play GW28). Other than that, it would mean transferring Sig in for Matty P. or Antonio.

I’ve also thought about saving the cash for other transfers by bringing in Mr. Morrison (WBA, .1 more than Capoue) or Carroll (Swansea, .3 less than Capoue) as a better 5th MF option.

Another option would be bring in Jesus just for GW 25/27 (and scramble for another FWD option in GW28).

My current potential GW28 blanks are:

    GK: Lloris, Grant
    DEF: PVA, Koscielny
    MF: Sanchez, Alli, Capoue
    FWD: Costa, Benteke

with 4 weeks to go, I believe I can get to 10 or 11 viable players for GW28 if I’m smart about transfers.

@Maxi: What about bringing in Oviedo from Sunderland at 4.3 for midfield decent punt play at a bargain and then shuffle some cash around to help with the blanks. Sanchez to Hazard will save you a few sheckles also and then grab Siggy
