Another quick turn around and a slew of news, injuries, and new players on new teams.  It is a great day to be alive when the rankings come out for the Premier League set for game week 24.  Why, you may ask?  Because I slave over a hot stove, day in and day out to stay on top of things so you don’t.  And yes, if you wanna cheat and skip ahead by all means, Sergio Aguero is my top ranked forward after missing last game week with a niggle.  Lot’s of games to love this week with Liverpool, Spurs and believe or not I like the fantasy output for Palace this week.  Unfortunately, Chelsea face off against Arsenal and it takes some fantasy luster off the game, shucks.  Oh well, on to Week 24 rankings.  Cheers!

So last week was a poor week (29 pts, 25 cumulative after the -4 for bringing in holgate) – and had, van Aanholt (6), Negredo (7) and Capoue (5) all sitting on my bench.

    GK: Lloris, Grant
DEF: Smith (BOU), Coleman, Holgate, van Aanholt, Koscielny
MF: Sanchez, Alli, Phillips, Antonio, Capoue
    FWD: Costa, Rondon, Negredo

I have 3.8million burning in my pocket, so do I upgrade Negredo to Jesus or Lukaku, or save the money and finally move on from Capoue? Eventually I’ll need to get a GK that will play GW28 (maybe bring in Jakupovic for Grant), and I also need some FWDs/MFs that won’t be blanks; so far I just have Antonio, Matty P and Rondon.

One last thought would be to save money and bring in Brunt for Koscielny, and then I might just have enough for a big upgrade in the MF/FWD slots. That’d put me at 4.9 in the bank, possibly within reach of Kane if he stays put or DeBrune, Hazard, Mane, etc…I just hate having that amount of money not put into my team.

As always, thanks and thanks some more!

@Maxi: Benteke for Negredo leaves me with 2.8 in the bank.

Sig for Capoue = 1.0 left; Zaha for Capoue = 2.8 left

Sig for Antonio = 3.4 left; Zaha for Antonio = 5.2 left

Should I be hesitant to bring Palace players in, since they will blank unless Spurs lose to Fulham in the FA cup?

Sig seems like the “safest” bet, but maybe I’m still far enough out that I can get away with Zaha or Benteke til then.

@Maxi: the palace double is tough. But benteke is def a different animal with ZaHa back. So those would be my recommends if you can get zaha and tellers in don’t worry about week 28 because you just need 2 free transfers to settle your lineup. Cheers lad thanks for the read.
