This week’s fixtures have all the makings for one of two things.  It is either going to be an offensive juggernaut that produces lots of goal from all the usual suspects and teams.  Or it is a huge trap week and Liverpool and City all shat the bed and leave us holding our heads in despair.  Either way it will cause a panic at not only the disco, but through the transfer adds/drops for week 25.  My advice to that is, screw week 25.  We still have this week to play before we get all crazy britches about speculation of next week.  the only thing you should be looking forward to schedule wise is the DGW, blank weeks and who will or won’t.  So until than let us gaze upon the beautiful fixtures that are here now.  It almost appears that the top 6 teams are all playing the bottom six teams and all the middle teams are playing each other. It is a bizarre state of scheduling that from my expert lifeguard chair is going to be another fabulous week of fantasy output for all.  So here’s to you, your team and fingers-crossed for a bountiful week. Week 24 rankings for middies and forwards is right after the bump.  Cheers!

Midfielders:

  1. Mo Salah, Liverpool
  2. Eden Hazard, Chelsea
  3. Kevin de Bruyne, Man City
  4. Paul Pogba, Man United
  5. Heung-Min Son, Spurs
  6. Leroy Sane, Man City
  7. Marko Arnautovic, West Ham
  8. Raheem Sterling, Man City
  9. Christian Eriksen, Spurs
  10. Sadio Mane, Liverpool
  11. Mesut Ozil, Arsenal
  12. Willian, Chelsea
  13. Manuel Lanzini, West Ham
  14. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Liverpool
  15. Dele Alli, Spurs
  16. Jesse Lingard, Man United
  17. Riyad Mahrez, Leicester
  18. Richarlison, Watford
  19. Anthony Martial, Man United
  20. Jordon Ibe, Bournemouth
  • Liverpool look primed and set-up for a goal spree this week, after the goal fest versus each other.
  • No pedro, no Morata means that Eden Hazard is probably going to be a focal point again of the Blues attack.
  • Ride the lighting for 4 more weeks with the Hammers.
  • And we wait for the Alexis Sanchez news…as of writing this he is in limbo.
  • Is Ox a bargain at 5.6 now that he is sitting in the Coutinho-bird seat?
  •  At some point Richarlison is either going to just not do anything or just not be owned…eventually.
  • Ibe is my far fetched guy this week.  Why?  Because the top 6 teams are all owned a ton and litter the rankings so gotta go obtuse.

Forwards:

  1. Sergio Aguero, Man City
  2. Roberto Firmino, Liverpool
  3. Harry Kane, Spurs
  4. Alexandre Lacazette, Arsenal
  5. Romelu Lukaku, Man United
  6. Jamie Vardy, Leicester
  7. Cenk Tosun, Everton
  8. Callum Wilson, Bournemouth
  9. Michy Batshuayi, Chelsea
  10. Laurent Depoitre, Huddersfield
  11. Jordan Ayew, Swansea
  • Yea I trust Kun and Bobby D more than the wunderkind Harry kane this week.  So what of it?
  • Harry Kane’s has blanked in 4 out of the last 5 road fixtures.
  • Morata had to go and be stupid and get a red card in the FA cup match so he will miss, nothing new really.  He has missed the goal continuously for weeks.
  • Bournemouth need to rebound after getting bounced and trounced by Wigan.  wilson should lead the line there and it is a sneaky game for fantasy value.
