The last rankings round-up. The unfortunate things that are really fun and annoying is that they have to come to an unfortunate end. Way too many unfortunate things there, but for the gist of spitting at soccer it makes last week look like heaven’s sent. I am still trying to forget it and GW 37 just ended yesterday. too many negatives don’t equal a positive. That is why i am thankful that week 38 is finally here so we can move on from our woes and set the record straight with one more good week to go out on a top note. There is no need to be wordy with an intro this week, we have done this 37 times previous. To wax poetic would just not be my style as I like it short, sweet, brunette and with a great personality. Wait, we’re still talking about FPL players…right? So with out further adieu here are my views on the rankings for week 38. Good luck, it has been a pleasure bringing you fantasy output this year and I have one more post of usefulness this year. Cheers! Please, blog, may I have some more?
Unfortunately friends the FPl season has to end. Even more unfortunate is that crap-fest of a DGW that we just witnessed. If anything maybe it is a learning lesson for future doubles to come next year. Leaving your chips on the table til the end make them go stale. None the less we come down to the last week of games. i am kinda sad. What will I do with the countless hours of content typing time that I give on a weekly basis. Oh, I know. Jump on over to Fantasy Baseball where I do two posts a week covering saves and steals. Not into baseball, well come on in and tell me how much you miss me on the FPL side. It may sound cliche, and probably falling on deaf ears slightly after the output we just received last week, but empting the barrell for the week 38 fixtures and taking a minus or three isn’t a bad way to go down in a blaze of glory. Only bad thing is that will be the team you stare at through the World Cup and into the start of next year. Giving you a reminder of the craptastic voyage we all took together on this 7 month journey. Here is the last transfer helper of the year as week 38 is upon. Cheers! Please, blog, may I have some more?
We are gathered here to discuss only the finest captain choices and disregard those that will not lead us to FPL glory. At the end of the day, your weekly captaincy choice plays a huge difference in your ranking, as it basically can guarantee a green arrow if/when you choose correctly. While nailing the pick each and every week would be splendid, the reality is you ain’t gonna get it right every time, so just trust your gut when picking the right captain and pray to the FPL gods that we will be a’stackin’ some point doublin’ over the course of the season.
Here are your captain picks for DGW37:Please, blog, may I have some more?
Doubles rule the FPL world, just like O’Doyle rules the Billy Madison world. We are here at the ultimate in fantasy weeks, the last double of the year. Last chance to but through that ton score threshold and capitalize on those chip (whichever you are using). With 12 teams doubling up it gives us some tough decisions transfer wise. Who do we use in the forward position/ How many single game week players do I trust? If one or two, whom? All tough questions because there are so many great in form single game week players, but two is still greater than one and 180 minutes trumps 90. So transfer wisely when it comes to committing to single game week guys, no more than 2 should be gracing your entire roster and one of them is the back-up keeper. This week’s rankings much like other double game week affairs will be littered with twice the flavor for my love towards weekly returns. So if you are torn between one guy or the other use my rankings to steer you to the promised land of fantasy points. Enjoy the week’s games and I’ll see ya tomorrow with the start’s and sit’s. Pull up a stool, first round is on me. Welp folks go to the chicken coop, grab all the eggs and throw them in the week 26 DGW basket, Chasing, points, leading or just having a snare of a season, it all shouldn’t matter. This is the funnest time of the year. everyone scrambling around to get as many viable double asset players as possible into their rosters. You should be no different. The point hits are out the window for the chipless folks. Get the triple captain or BB fired up. I kinda feel like Vince Lombardi right now trying to motivate the troops for fantasy battle. If you googled fantasy battle and were looking for the Dungeons and Dragons fantasy advice column, thanks for stopping by. With tons of teams playing a double this week and all of them with awesome differentials and price dumps building a roster this week via either a points hit or chip is going to be a fun ordeal. So do your research, play the price changes game and strap on. It is going to be a fun ride for the next 10 days of build up and than games. Here are the transfer ideas for DGW 36. Cheers! Please, blog, may I have some more?
Making captain picks before the gaffers give their pressers is an exercise in futility. You can reallistically assume certain players will be ruled out, but often we are left with more cryptic knowledge than firm answers once the Friday pressers have come and gone. That being said, decisions must be made and this post has the intention of providing you some insight into the best captain picks for the forgotten week, the week before the double game week. Don’t stress the press, just go with the flow and pick your best! Please, blog, may I have some more?
We’re once again giving you our loves and hates for each week in a segment called “Start ‘Em and Sit ‘Em”. You should know the drill, but if you don’t, we pick one option from each position. Pretty cut and dry, and quite simply… basic. It is more based on my feelings and gut approach for the week’s upcoming and changes from week-to-week. I look at match-ups and form to formulate my craziness. It’s like musical chairs, without all the screaming kids and regretful feeling of loss. So sit back, relax, and have a look at who we would start and sit based on match-ups and value. It’s Fantasy Premier League Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em, Week 36 (plus a sleeper/under-owned fella that should be owned and isn’t.)Please, blog, may I have some more?
Week 36 comes rolling in the fantasy door like a kitten with soundproof shoes on. Seriously it is so quiet in here and the noise is all surrounding the 2 goals that were conceded in another tournament that really don’t matter until Liverpool give up 3 more. Run-on sentences are fun, especially when the point you wanna prove falls on deaf ‘Pudlian ears. So moving on in the museum tour of rankings for the FPL week 36. This is a severe set-up week, almost like an awful blind date setup by someone who doesn’t really know your personality. You appreciate the fixtures but don’t really ever plan to call or text or use this people again because you are dating twins next week. Twins! And not of the Minnesota variety. I always forget that not all the baseball jokes transfer correctly, but if you are into that sorta thing click on the baseball thing on monday’s and Friday’s as I continue my journey to the middle of popularity there. So transfer wisely this week, only bring in players that have a double next week. I mean it don’t be stupid. Cheers! Please, blog, may I have some more?
As a Blues fan it pains me to type in a sentence that I am waiting for the Pudlians to determine the fantasy forecast of the FPL universe for the upcoming week 36. But alas here we are 5-2 later. Wondering is that enough for the commitment level needed to buy into a Liverpool side this week, or is it not enough to rest on your laurels and say I am rolling with the Joneses’ of the fantasy world and standing pat. I wish I was more of a devout mind and had a simple answer to that question. You are damned if you do and damned if you don’t. the ownership and ownership levels on the Salah’s. Mane’s and insert third name Liverpool player are astronomical right now. especially if you are chasing points. but is the chase the thing that may help you in your endeavors. I think it just may. It brings into play what5 we touched a few weeks ago is the games remaining more valuable for less games given the known returns or gambling on he bonus games to be played at the questionable return. Questions as long as the day is long my friends. Many a fantasy pundit will climb the tree of knowledge saying they have the best umbrella for a rainy day, bit I am here to tell you taht they are simply guessing. And guessing is sometimes a legitimate FPL strategy. so before you start to guess, let’s get some logic in your noggin head into the pivotal week 36 no blank/no double fixture week. Transfer insight upcoming, strap up. Cheers! Please, blog, may I have some more?
