A funny thing happened on the way to this week's title, I went to school growing up with an Eve Blank. If I could make that stuff up i would but unfortunately tis true. We used sh are the big pack of 64 crayons you know the one with the built in sharpener.  we were high rolling in the 'burbs of Jersey. I wonder where she is now...hmmm.  Not that it matters because Eve won't help you prepare for the week 31 blank fest and only 8 games on the slate.  i will.  So if you have a multi-pack of crayons you and I can be friends.  If not shove off.  This week is pivotal.  It is a time where you look at your team and say "direction, I am going that way."  For better or worse this course of action will dictate how you maneuver through the chip minefield and when to use that all so valuable second WC.  I am not driving the bus to use it in week, 34, 355 or 37, because I just don't know everyone's team that well or what you have already used etc, etc.  But if you wanna ask i am always here for ya.  Transfers this week should be made with the course of action in place that you know when you are wildcarding, using the your free hit and the bench boost.  Multiple double gameweeks to strive for and to use every available asset that you have at your disposal.  So be smart, transfer with your head and for god sake stop thinking about Evelyn Blank. Good luck and Cheers!
We’re once again giving you our loves and hates for each week in a segment called “Start ‘Em and Sit ‘Em”.  You should know the drill, but if you don’t, we pick one option from each position.  Pretty cut and dry, and quite simply… basic.  It is more based on my feelings and gut approach for the week’s upcoming and changes from week-to-week.  I look at match-ups and form to formulate my craziness.  It’s like musical chairs, without all the screaming kids and regretful feeling of loss. So sit back, relax, and have a look at who we would start and sit based on match-ups and value. It’s Fantasy Premier League Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em, Week 29 (plus a sleeper/under-owned fella that should be owned and isn’t.)

Oh the weather outside is FPL frightful. Dum, de dum delightful. The weather is definitely a blind pimple on the face of the FPL heading into this weekend’s slate of fixtures. Hell it is going to affect today’s Arsenal/City clash.  So if and a big if that they do play rankings are the pivot point to a transfer strategy.  Please, blog, may I have some more?

I know what you are saying and you are 100% correct, week 28 isn't over yet.  I wanted to give the good folks of the FPL community who are currently freezing from the blistery winter weather and possibility of snow across the pond something to do.  Granted that is if they still have power, zombies aren't attacking and Gary neville is yelling at everyone for walking around. With three games of significance to play one the Man City/Arsenal week 38 clash, the Swansea/ Sheff Wednesday affair and the Spurs replay in the FA Cup that will significantly change the atmosphere of the future FPL universe in the transfer market I still wanna touch on some things that are buzzing around my head in terms of FPL transfers. Having all the right answers is a futile game in trying to figure out the who's and what's from week to week in prospering in FPL. Every expert is a guesser, some just more glorified than the other.  Don't believe me go look at the ownership rates of every goal scorer from last week and stop after Kane, Salah, Firmino and Shaqiri.   How many of the pundits could have predicted that mess to all be a prosperous lot.  None is the answer, and with limited transfers at a time looking smart is a far second to being handsome. So with that I will take my looks over being correct.  So here are my gorgeous picks to click this week in the FPL week 29 transfer window.  Cheers!

You hear that drumming in  the distance? That is the upcoming schedule.  Rearing its slow and steady beat and invading your every thought.  Every transfer decision you make from here on out should be with the biggest four weeks on your mind. With 2 blank weeks and 2 doubles in the remainder of the calender, rankings mean only so much to the clearer bigger picture.  Think long and hard about your preparation for those weeks as every player thank blanks that you may own or transfer in reverberates to gameweeks 34, 35 and 37.  So be smart and slow the pace of play a bit and instead of hitting confirm transfer think again about it.  get yourself on a plan of attack for the final 11 weeks of play.  Chips in hand, wildcards to play.  Stack them up against players in your mini league and dominate.  But for those playing it by the seat of their pants here are the week 28 rankings for the FPL.  Good luck and Cheers!
First off, breathe.  Secondly we have four weeks to figure everything out.  There is no need to go full on Chernobyl and build your team to be a complete entity now for week 31.  No one wants a team constructed of three Liverpool players and than a miss mosh of West Brom, Watford and the likes for the next three weeks before they all do battle in week 31.  Just in case you are behind on the times there are only 8 teams scheduled for week 31.  After that is a mis-mosh of doubles and chip set-ups. But one week at a time.  Start by looking at your least valuable pieces, both form and price, and transfer them out for the 1 of 8 teams that compete in week 31.  Those teams are Liverpool, Watford, West Brom, Huddersfield, Everton, Stoke, Bournemouth and Crystal Palace.  Add in the possibilities of a Spurs/Newcastle fixture after the FA Cup replay happens against Spurs and Rochdale.  So it is a muddled up mess of blahness and anticipation right now.  Take on or two transfers at a time and work your way up your teams chart of bad to good players leading up to week 31.  It is only week 28 though so start slow, and I will be here to hold your hands with guidance the rest of the way.  Call me the fantasy crossing guard or something like that.  So here are some ideas for now that will help later and some that will just help now.  Happy transferring and good luck.  Cheers!

In a week built to attack the lower level squads, I am advising everyone to treat this as a one off week.  Pick guys that help you now.  Whether that be defensive matchups in your favor like Stoke or Swansea.  Or even on the offensive end with Bournemouth and crazy as it may seem Brighton.  The lower level clubs for me are getting a ton of my fantasy eye as we steam roll toward week 28 and the potential for fixture shuffle.  The best part of that is that we will have a full two weeks before the next game week to totally overthink our teams and mess with it six ways til Sunday.  So if you are having a debate in your head for transfers this week, pick the better matchup as you see it on paper.  In form teams right now aren't the ones you may expect.  If at all possible to go into week 28 with a second free transfer by all means do it because Arsenal and City may be blanking there.  One extra in the bank is better for the heart, mind and fantasy soul.  Enjoy the week 27 fixtures and happy transferring. Cheers!
Everyone is always looking for the long term solution, and making transfers for the her and now and future is always the way to go.  Until now.  With one week of fixtures than a week off, you need to worry about the here and forget about the then.  After the week off the DGW and blank game weeks will be more blatantly obvious and you can attack them accordingly.  So until the end of February you shouldn't have to worry about anything but the rest of the year set-up.  Whether that be using chips here, there and everywhere or making smart transfers to alleviate the hits that you may need to take to have a fully functional lineup to attack weeks 28-31. Lots of questions abound for this one week, Kane or not kane?  Alonso is not a sure thing for the next week and when if any trust do we place in Arsenal moving forward.  all vital questions that face this week and future fixtures and FPl gameplay.  So with all the news swirling around in your head let's take a look at the immediate impact transfer moves that you should be making now and worry about week 28 when the break is over.  Cheers!
