Much of the transfer market is stirred by midweek game sets, injury concerns and injury returns. This week stirs the pot with all three. The Champions League is back again to disrupt our brain waves and make us question who to bring in and who to be hesitant with. Philippe Coutinho returned last week to full fledged fantasy diva with a goal last week, and now has added a goal in the UCL game. Adding to the Liverpool conundrum is the return from suspension in Sadio Mane. Coutinho’s price and propensity to flash usefull fantasy goodies is the reason we awaited his arrival. Checking in as the cheapest useful midfielder in the trio of middies that Pool offer. His price will undoubtedly go up because of the goal output we have seen with 2 in two games, making him, in most cases the transfer of the week for me. If he continues to deliver his price will most likely never be lower, so monopolizing on his price and form is key to him being added now rather than later. Because saving a penny by being ahead of the curve saves you a penny later when you need to upgrade elsewhere later. Let’s see what else is going down in the world of in’s and out’s in FPL. Cheers!
Benjamin Mendy – Was seen on crutches and possibly heading for an extended stay away from fantasy rosters.Have no fear John Stones is here. I am only partially kidding obviously. Fabian Delph got the start in the UCL game which sets up Danilo for the weekend set against Chelsea. No good options abound here for week 7 as the game should feature goal sapping CS wipe-outs.
Nathaniel Chalobah – The Hornets middle man is out with a knee injury… more Richarlison love incoming.
Phil Jones – Save a penny gain a penny for much, much prettier options. Literally and physically. Cheap entry point still into possibly the stoutest group of defenders in Premier.
Stephen Ward – I am starting to get woo’d by the Burnley defense I think. either that or i was drugged by some dude selling bootleg DVD’s. His 4.5 price tag and top 15 returns for a defender are on par with Kolasinac and Walker.
Kevin de Bruyne – 3 assists to speak of out of the last 16 Man City goals. For 10m I can think of a ton of things to buy instead. Coutinho and a lap dance. Coutinho and a six pack. Coutinho and half a six pack and half a lap dance.
Tomer Hemed – He is the perfect third date at forward if you wanna pick two favorites among the top 5 and then re-invest in midfield. Bonus points are there when he scores, just how much will he or Brighton score?
Roberto Firmino – I get the hate, and the UCl showing isn’t helping. The transfer out rate is alarming…but, he scores twice as many points per game when Sadio Mane is in the fold. And guess what that said dude is back.` I am not saying to hold on but it could be worth the wait to hold for one more week.
