Rankings make the right turns seem to make sense. That is why we keep doing them every single week.  The information super-highway of FPL goodness.  Week 6 is coming to you on the heels of the Carabao Cup games and once again we are left with the questions of rotations that surround our teams.  With the deadline before we actually know it becomes a trust game.  Do we trust Pep?  Do we trust Jose?  Hell to the no.  The FPL game is using your best guess against the 5 million other best guessers.  Some are just better guessers than others at the right time.  So with other hub-bub here are the FPl rankings for all positions for Week 6.  Good luck and Cheers!Rankings make the right turns seem to make sense. So we attack the long first break of the year with some Week 4 goodies. As we all know, the basis of any good team is a good defense.  Without it, the goal would just be pummeled with shots and no goalie to stop them, making the score infinite.  That for the sake of all that is holy doesn’t actually happen, so much like reality, fantasy has to have keepers and defense.  they round out every nutritious fantasy breakfast, and if played right can be more prosperous than some striker combinations.  For the sake of this week’s match-ups though, the teams with some normal fantasy usefulness are turned into just fodder.  I am staring glaringly obviously at the City/Liverpool match which kicks of this week’s action bright an early on Saturday morning.  So to start the week yesterday was Transfer ideas and targets and now come the cavalcade of rankings for your viewing pleasure.  Cheers!

Welcome back all! We have two weeks down in the books, and I’ve provided some insight below into what I saw from a handful players, for better or for worse. Although I wish I could write about every player, remember that while we would to amass all of the players in the Fantasy Premier League universe, we are obligated to field a starting XI from your fifteen-man squad within the constraints of our budget. Hopefully some of these players below will at least be on your radar as you move forward with transfers and potential Wild Cards.

Every week I run down the weekly match-ups of all the matches on the slate and rank them based on price, ownership, and matches.  I then coagulate those in a high powered juice-maker of FPL proportions and come up with rankings for the week.  Sounds pretty cut and dry, and with this being Week 1, it becomes harder to rank because we only know what we know. And don’t know what we know, besides knowing what we don’t know.  There is no pattern, and it is all speculation.  So this separates the guessers from the experts in some form.  So feel free to critique, give me guff, or just stop on in to pat me on the back.  The season is here, and here starts the first rankings of Week 2.  Cheers!

Building a defense is the keystone to a good fantasy team.  The only problem is getting the right ones from the right teams at the right time.  Sound easy enough… wrong!  With so many names and rotation risks for so many teams, how do we know who will do what and when?  We don’t, but it never hurts to start with a team that has the makings of a top-3 defensive unit for the upcoming year.  I introduce you to Victor Lindelof.  the new signee for the Red Devils that looks like a key piece for a Mourinho defense that can be the makings of a solid United squad.  His only fall back is that he doesn’t have the year after year pedigree that we can say makes us sleep better at night.  With only one season to his credit with over 1000 minutes, the neophyte to the Premier may be viewed as a wait and see proposition. Though we will have to see how he is utilized in the defensive scheme of things.  As of now, he looks to have a starting spot based on what United has in the cupboard.  So should Victor be part of your initial squad?

Well, the result that we all were waiting for, City over Huddersfield, now adds to an already strategic plan onto an already over-strategized plan. So the transfer ideas this week are all City front six players, and stay away from the defense because they aren’t the most stoic bunch of clean sheet artists. Or you can go with the cost savings group and invest in Stoke players who also double thanks to the City victory yesterday. Regardless of what you do to your team, taking a minus this week on players that double up is a good idea because even if they get bare minimum returns of two points, you break even just on minutes played. The payoff is if the actually do anything or actually play. So with the DGW in mind here are the rankings for Week 27 in the FPL. Cheers!

Sometimes the best defense is having a good offense.  That reigns true when Alonso goes double-dipping last week, or if you take a look at some of the tastier fixtures for the upper-echelon defenses this week.  Look no further than the fixtures of Chelsea, Arsenal, and Liverpool and you can see why the ownership rates of some of their players is on the rise or is in the top tiers of pricing. There is always a reason for the price tags that accompany the players.  It is because they usually earned them, sad but true.  In some cases, they don’t but we can all determine the haves and the have nots by now.  So don’t go chasing defensive waterfalls, stick to the rivers and the lakes that you’re used to.  And remember, a good defense is the best differential going in this game. So be heady and smart.  Good luck and Cheers!

Every now and again, I enjoy a good change. I usually lump the rankings together in one useful and worthwhile post. This week, I am going back to the old “stand me” by breaking down the rankings between the back-enders and the glory riders (midfielders and forwards). I thought no one would mind, because if you minded you would have told me long before now that you did and I would have proactively done what you asked. Smokey is a people pleaser! The Defense and Keeper ranks are the fantasy wheelchair to the other positions being the backbone. The clean sheet monsters are just that, clean sheet driven. Their sole purpose and most points given are based from that… Granted, I get that some instances arise where people go off and have goals, assists, or a large number of saves to add to their fantasy bounty. But that is few and far between, so let’s just stick to the chalk here and get down to the Fantasy Premier league Rankings for Keepers and Defense. Cheers!

Lots of games spread out all over the place.  Which, if you are a footie purist, is a fantastic way to go about killing time this week.  There are literally games every single day this week that had some form of EP team involved.  It started off with the Watford/Burnley affair to conclude Week 6, and it ends with the full Sunday slate of four games.  Add in the UCL games and the Europa games and we have had an action packed week of football.  Now that we have all that out of the way and all the games that sorta matter, or are complete history, we hit Week 7 full bore.  I gave everyone my transfer ideas for the week, and now we get to the meat and potatoes of the week, the rankings.  Some tasty match-ups with tons of fantasy ownership abound this week as we see some juggernauts of fantasy face off against one another.  So without further adieu and hullabaloo, lets get to the rankings for all positions in the FPL this week, the week of seven.  Cheers!
