I wanted to pause a day and reflect on the past week and the UCL games that were played on Tuesday, to at least get halfthe goods on FPL teams and it’s players.  I am glad I waited, because I changed the focus of my opening paragraph from The Dukes of Hazard to Ilkay Gundogan.  A wise and more cost-friendly move for the FPL universe.  While bringing in Hazard is probably the mainstream move. it doesn’t parlay into what the hidden gems and bargain-bin discounts of the Transfer post is all about.  So by waiting the day, we got to see another example of the blossom that is Gundogan, netting 2 goals today in City’s defeat of Barca.  At his current price of 5.5 and improved form and contribution to the City build-up, he is now in the category of Etienne CapWho?  Yeah, exactly. He shouldn’t be rostered anymore, and funds should be shifted anymore, or anyone else in that comparative 5.5 and down price point, minus Joe Allen.  So if you don’t or haven’t even looked at Ilkay this week and are considering a bolder named move, by all means be my guest.  I myself am flying on the low-end theory and taking a ride on the Gundo train.  They have Middlesbrough, Palace and Burnley in the next three.  Yeah, looks like the post Halloween candy sale at the Walgreen’s with some fantasy flair.  So here are the other ideas this week for transfers or baking recipes, good luck. Cheers!

Double digits already, holy hell. Time flies when you have imaginary friends who you try and steer down the path of fantasy enlightenment. The only thing I like about it being Week 10 already is that it’s only got 28 weeks to go. But seriously, the things I really like about it is we are starting to see the burn and flash points of building an admirable FPL team. We are seeing who plays well with each other on their weekend play dates, and who has the look of fantasy pretenders. What I mean there is, that no one is trusting anyone from Hull or even Sunderland at this point and obviously feel comfortable enough to admit it to their friends. Well, the Transfer Tuesday post is all about making you comfy in your own skin and show off the fat girl, scooter or whatever your personal catching point for social awkwardness may be. So get comfy as your ole pal Smokey takes you down the relaxing aisle of FPL start of the week goodness. It’s transfer Tuesday, jump up and yell like Ric Flair at random strangers, WOOOOOOOO. Cheers!

Like I said, it’s never a bad thing to have an investment value in an Arsenal player, namely defense.  The upcoming fixture list is clearly in their favor.  With matches against Swansea, Middlesbrough, and Sunderland on the upcoming list, it has to make your transfer button sweat.  And by sweat, I mean of the jar of pickles in the sun kind of sweat.  For those in the R&B tip and wanted me to reference Keith Sweat, I am sorry this week’s lede is all about the Gunners.  Take a look at the player for Arsenal’s defense of note and regular playing time, Hector Bellerin is the most owned, most expensive and yet the second highest scorer.  The person of value here I believe is that of Laurent Koscielny.  Him of the £.3 variety cheaper, half of the ownership and nearly two more points per game average.  Plus he has more of a chance to score a goal, as he has already nodded in two on the year’s campaign.  So those in the sleepy variety will have Bellerin on their team, those on the come up will look at the Arsenal center man as the key piece and most likely highest priced addition to their squad in the next coming game wees.  So with Week 8 upon all of us, let’s look at some other coming up players that I think could make a transfer darling for your squads.  Cheers!

Sometimes life and technology get in the way of the genius, or semi-genius, that I convey to you on a weekly basis. It isn’t really genius as much as it is a hazy diatribe of words thrown together in some form of sense. But at the end, it all comes down to one common goal and that is the week at hand with Fantasy Premier League action. So with UCL games yesterday and today, plus with the impending week off for international duty, it suddenly becomes an interesting week as we streak toward Boxing Day. I only say Boxing Day because I use that as the half way post from a fantasy perspective, by no means look that far ahead when it comes to you building your roster. It is way too far away to comprehend, and involves me buying presents for everyone. So this post always starts off the FPL week and with all the info of the UCL injuries/non-injuries, Europa games, the week off upcoming and dealing with current injuries of star players (de Bruyne) we can finally get down to the brass tax of Week 6 in the Premier league. So here are some of my transfer ideas for the upcoming week and as always good luck. Cheers!

We’re once again giving you our loves and hates for each week in a segment called “Start ‘Em and Sit ‘Em”.  You should know the drill, but if you don’t, we pick one option from each position.  Pretty cut and dry, and quite simply… basic.  It is more based on my feelings and gut approach for the week upcoming and changes from week-to-week.  I look at match-ups and form to formulate my craziness.  It’s like musical chairs, without all the screaming kids and regretful feeling of loss. So sit back, relax, and have a look at who we would start and sit based on match-ups and value. It’s Fantasy Premier League Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em, Week 6 (plus a sleeper/under-owned fella that should be owned and isn’t).

It is blatantly obvious this week who we should be targeting with our one free transfer…  If there was ever a week to take a minus to augment your FPL team, this is the week.  Sergio Aguero returns from banishment and his price is only going to rise from here.  Sacrifices have to be made unfortunately, but in the end game folks, it is worth it to have the best fantasy player in the game wearing your chain.  His price comes at the sacrifice of a second or third high priced midfielder most likely, but I am here to tell you that the midfield ranks are littered with moderate value plays up and down the FPL roster.  So say good bye to the Ozil’s, the Payet’s or the Hazard’s and make way for the difference maker that should be by next week the most owned player in the game.  It’s sorta funny, he was on the money before his ban and wasn’t the most owned but since he hasn’t been around for three weeks, we are all coveting his services.  The fantasy world is a strange and funny place.  Stick around for some other fantasy goodies and transfer ideas and targets after the bump.  Cheers!

Just when things start to get rolling and we are just learning to tie our FPL shoelaces, the international break comes along.  Brace yourselves, I am going to use that same joke in three more weeks, because there’s another one coming.  I always say things come better as twins, think about that for a minute and answer it yourself to prove me right.  The big debate I have been reading on the webs is: when is it the perfect time to use the first wildcard?  Here’s the best advice I or anyone can give you…  It is your team, do with it whatever you want, there are no wrong answers when the thing is yours.  So with the jokes and the wildcard thing implanted in your head, let’s all keep our fingers crossed for a clean bill of health for all our transfer targets.  Because nothing ruins your raisin bran cereal more then reading that Diego Costa pulled an ear lobe and won’t be around for ya.  So we start the Week 4 barrage with the usual transfer ideas and dreams I have concocted.  Cheers!

Yeah, I can totally dig that I used the wrong edition in the title.  It was completely done on purpose and part of the chicanery we like to do here at Razzbol FC.  Others may seem to know what they are talking about and come across as fantasy robots, but not I.  I spit the every man talk, the guy you meet at the bar who knows more than you know, but also buys you a pint.  I don’t sit behind a desk or have some flashy big website to back my redundant garbage.  I am Smokey, here me roar.  Get it?  I am a bear.  So the New Edition I was referencing was of an 80’s R&B ilk.  You know the one… with Bobby and Ricky and Johnny and Michael?  They were that decades version of a panty dropper.  Now, most people aren’t in tune with the formalities that NE brought to the table, but can you imagine what the FPL value of Bobby Brown would be if he transferred in yesterday?  It would be straight double digits, as he was a swagger maker from the beginning, just ask Whitney.  The other members would be good as secondary pieces and most importantly part of the east coast family…abcbbd.  So now that you either love what I am laying down as we travel back to seventh grade and travel foxes, or hate me because I say it like you wish you could say, here are the newest ADDITIONS to the FPL universe via the transfer deadline day…
