AHHHH, short weeks ruin stuff like rankings and decision-making.  Well, the skippers of many teams ruin that by rotations and selection conundrums.  That doesn’t even factor into the equation the fitness levels of some high-test fantasy players.  Unfortunately the best strategy is to have a strong enough bench just in case those situations where substitutes come into play.  You don’t need three quality subs, but it doesn’t hurt to say, have two that actually play from week-to-week, that unfortunately gather dust on your bench.  A crisp two points from a player is better then a straight zero.  So think wisely with your main goal in building toward another fast game week set over the weekend and the eventual DGW’s that are coming.  Here are the Fantasy Premier league Rankings for Week 31,  Cheers!

Usually with a fast week, decision making, as it comes to transfer ideas, is a rash decision making process.  I am prone to do it.  I make a decision with my mind instead of my heart, and sometimes leave my self short-sighted for the weeks to come.  No matter, because we are still in the mind set of sorta playing for this week, but still thinking about the double dip factor for the 3 teams that double in Week 34.  So with a quick turnaround this week, we jump into the transfer ideas and views of some players that I see that could help both now and later.  So good luck with the 2-3 days off and then right back into the fray of FPL action.  Cheers!

We’re once again giving you our loves and hates for each week in a segment called “Start ‘Em and Sit ‘Em”.  You should know the drill, but if you don’t, we pick one option from each position.  Pretty cut and dry, and quite simply… basic.  It is more based on my feelings and gut approach for the week’S upcoming and changes from week-to-week.  I look at match-ups and form to formulate my craziness.  It’s like musical chairs, without all the screaming kids and regretful feeling of loss. So sit back, relax, and have a look at who we would start and sit based on match-ups and value. It’s Fantasy Premier League Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em, Week 30 (plus a sleeper/under-owned fella that should be owned and isn’t).

Yikes folks, three-game weeks in 10 days and if you don’t have the need for adult diapers, now may be the time.  Excitement personified!  This is the last stretch run of games that come in succession like this for the rest of the year, and if you are big proponent of taking a minus and not having it affect you this is the time.  I say that because if you simply take a minus a week for the next 3 and set yourself up with one player for the week, and one for the DGW in 34 w/ United, Soton, and Palace… you will be ahead of the game and hold onto that coveted wildcard for the better looking DGW fixtures after Week 34.  But what the heck do I know? Enjoy the week.  Happy transferring and here are the Week 30 FPL rankings for all positions.  Cheers!

Well, we are back my friends after what seems like an endless array of breaks. No pun intended. Okay, well maybe slightly. The unfortunate thing already is the season ending injury to Seamus Coleman, who before breaking his leg for country, was the second highest scoring defender in the official game. Sucks, but that is what the one free transfer is for, or the minus 4, 8, or even 12 are for. So losing a staple defender isn’t the best news to start the FPL Week 30 with, but there is good news on the horizon. The DGW fixtures have sorta of been set for Week 34. With United, Boro, and Palace getting the doubles. Which if you are setting up for Week 37 and beyond, will be awfully delicious from a double up standpoint and wildcard usage rate. So my advice for now is build for this week with an eye on 34, but a binocular type view on Week 37 (unless you have your WC, because it don’t matter really). So best of luck filling the injury flagged spots on your rosters my lads. Comments, suggestions are always welcomed. Cheers!

Now that the back-enders are out of the way for Week 29, we can get down to the meat, potatoes and goal scorers. The quintessential fantasy meal. Getting the right set-up for midfielders is a lot harder than getting the forward ones correct right now. The options are seemingly endless, and given the shape, health and suspension levels going on in the forward ranks it is hard to get that right set for now and for the upcoming weeks. So play for now, grab for form, screw fixture through the middle. As far as the strikers go, it is kinda of weeded out for you through attrition really. With Kane and Ibra gone, it makes the forward ranks Lukaku, Costa, Manolo and maybe a roll of the dice with Sergio. Well, if you came for advice and ranks you came to the right place. Keep reading for the Week 29 Middies and Forward ranks. Cheers!

I hate the build-up and then let down of the one week play, and then the following week off for International duty. The only thing the extra time creates is itchy trigger fingers, injuries and usually more questions left unanswered then answered. So with Week 29 upon us now, the advice of this advocate is to stay firm, bring in the minimum transfers and go to battle with what you have. The week after is when we attack the WC consideration. We will have a better idea of who plays where and when. So rest on your laurels good friends, and just enjoy this week’s rankings for FPL Week 29. Cheers!

The blanks are gone, Week 29 is here. Then an unfortunate week off… then the stretch run. That sums it up completely my friends. The bad news is we all sit here hitting F5 to refresh the injury news on the beloved Harry Kane. The injury news will shape teams for the immediate and the distant future. Because he is a nailed-on fantasy asset, and with his timetable for return yet to be determined, it leaves us in a guessing limbo. Then if you add in the two-week ban to Ibra, the forward position narrows itself down by attrition almost. No fear my friends, that is why we all should have the wildcard in hand to attack the next 10 game weeks. I am not saying to use it now, I am saying that if you have it and with the FA Cup coming up after this week, it will be ample time to build your roster for the multiple DGW that are going to be available for several teams and opening up the player universe to basically everyone. Well, everyone with a double that is, and some have two in the future. So build wisely, but stay in the here and now and work for Week 29 first, future later. Here are some immediate transfer options to use for the FPL this week.
